1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your preferences or whether you have already accepted cookies — so you do not have to re-enter it every time you return.
Similar technologies include localStorage (browser storage that persists until cleared) and session storage (cleared when you close the tab). Where we refer to 'cookies' in this policy, we mean all of these technologies unless stated otherwise.
Cookies can be first-party (set by tikrr.com directly) or third-party (set by a service we use, such as Google Analytics). They can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a defined period).
2. Cookies we use on tikrr.com
We group cookies into three categories based on their purpose. You can opt out of any non-essential category at any time by resetting your consent preference — see Section 4 for how.
Category 1 — Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under GDPR, UK GDPR, and equivalent laws.
| Cookie / Key | Provider · Purpose · Duration |
|---|---|
| tikrr_cookie_consent | TIKRR (first-party) · Stores your cookie consent choice (accepted or rejected) and the policy version you consented to, so the banner does not reappear on return visits and we can re-prompt if the policy changes · localStorage — until cleared by you |
| __session / Firebase auth tokens | Google LLC — Firebase · Maintains authentication state when a user is logged in to the TIKRR platform. Not set for anonymous site visitors · Session cookie / localStorage — session / 1 hour (access token) |
Category 2 — Analytics (require your consent)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with tikrr.com. These cookies are only loaded after you click Accept All on the cookie banner. If you click Reject Non-Essential, these cookies are never set.
| Cookie / Key | Provider · Purpose · Duration |
|---|---|
| _ga | Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 · Registers a unique ID used to generate statistical data on how you use tikrr.com. IP anonymization is enabled — your full IP address is never stored · Persistent — 2 years |
| _ga_G-TCV9Y30CVL | Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 · Maintains session state for the TIKRR GA4 property (ID: G-TCV9Y30CVL) · Persistent — 2 years |
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (US), certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under Standard Contractual Clauses. See google.com/policies/privacy and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout for more information and a browser opt-out add-on.
Category 3 — Functional (require your consent)
Functional cookies enable enhanced features on the site. These are only loaded when you interact with those features and only after you have accepted cookies.
| Cookie / Key | Provider · Purpose · Duration |
|---|---|
| __cfruid · calendly.consent · _cfuvid | Calendly LLC (US) · Set when the Get a Demo booking popup is opened. Used to manage session state, prevent fraud, and track booking completion. Only loads when you click a 'Get a Demo' button · Session to 1 year (varies by cookie) |
Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See calendly.com/privacy for more information.
3. What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or targeting cookies.
- We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
- We do not serve third-party ads on tikrr.com.
- We do not use cross-site tracking for retargeting.
- We do not load any non-essential cookies before you accept them.
4. Managing your cookie preferences
TIKRR consent banner
When you first visit tikrr.com, a cookie banner appears. Choose Accept All to enable analytics and functional cookies, or Reject Non-Essential to allow only strictly necessary cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage as tikrr_cookie_consent and respected on every return visit.
To change your preference at any time, clear the tikrr_cookie_consent entry from your browser's local storage (Application → Local Storage in DevTools) or clear your browser data. The banner will reappear on your next visit.
Browser settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling all cookies may break some website functionality. Guidance is available for Google Chrome (support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647), Mozilla Firefox (support.mozilla.org), Apple Safari (support.apple.com), and Microsoft Edge (support.microsoft.com).
Google Analytics opt-out
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Your rights by jurisdiction
European Union and EEA (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Our legal basis for analytics and functional cookies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Strictly necessary cookies are processed under legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
You may lodge a complaint with your local EU supervisory authority at edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en.
United Kingdom (UK GDPR)
The same rights apply under UK GDPR. Complaints may be directed to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
TIKRR does not sell personal information or use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a Do Not Sell/Share request. Requests may be submitted to privacy@tikrr.com.
Canada (PIPEDA / CASL)
Canadian residents may access personal information we hold and withdraw consent for non-essential processing. We do not send commercial electronic messages to Canadians without required consent under CASL. Requests: privacy@tikrr.com.
Australia (Privacy Act 1988)
Australian users may request access to or correction of personal information. Unresolved complaints may be directed to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

7. How long we retain cookie data
Google Analytics cookie data is retained for 26 months from the date of collection, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. Consent records stored in your browser's localStorage persist until you clear your browser storage or reset your preferences. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our services. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and — where required by law — increment the policy version number, which automatically re-prompts your consent via the cookie banner on your next visit.
We encourage you to review this page periodically.
